As of 3061, the Whirlwind-class destroyer CSV Constrictor was a WarShip within the Clan Steel Viper touman.

Also serving in the Steel Viper touman was a sister vessel to the Constrictor, the CSV Snake in the Grass.[1]
Of all the WarShips in the Steel Viper touman, the Constrictor was the last to be destroyed during the Annihilation of the Clan in December 3075. Having fought as a part of the last naval engagement of the Annihilation against the combined forces of the six Home Clans, the Constrictor joined the last naval defense against the atmsophere of New Kent before finally making a break for the nearest jump point. Naval forces from the combined Clan task force hunted the Constrictor down and destroyed it before it could jump away.[2]
