Description
The Cormorant Medium Cargo Transport is a Federated Suns produced by Michaelson Aircraft, division of Michaelson Heavy Industries. The Cormorant is noted for being the most common WiGE in the FedSuns, produced since late 27th Century. The WiGE, was designed to be used on worlds with large oceans. One its more notable features, it being inexpensive, due to no need for use of airstrips.
It was designed with modest protection to fend off natural & human planetary threats to its cargo. The vehicle was typically used on Ulysses, where natural born predators are known for their size and aggression.[1]
Cargo & Capacities
The Cormorant is designed to be a seaborne capable craft, which has a Amphibious Chassis for water landings. It has a Cargo Bay with a 29.5 ton capacity, with rear mounted bay door.
The craft it also equipped with pair of Machine Guns, one mounted on each of its side. It shares a half ton of ammunition for the guns in the hull.
It has a 1.5 tons of BAR 6 rated commerical armor protecting the craft from light damage.

Variants
- Fulmar Patrol Craft - Militarized version of the Cormorant, which outwordly resembles its. However, its faster and better armored than original.
