Drune II was mentioned in Decision at Thunder Rift as a Lyran Commonwealth "fleet base", with the implication that it is a planet (the second of its star system) somewhere in the vicinity of the Trell system.
Given that no published starmap for BattleTech (nor any other publication) mention this planet, it could be assumed that the system is known under another name otherwise, and/or lies in the Dark Nebula and therefore isn't mapped out as an individual system.

- In the German edition of the novel, Drune II was replaced by Beta VII.
