The Falsterbo system was the location of at least one habitable world or construct and (as of 3079) located in the Deep Periphery nation known as the Hanseatic League.[2] It was approximately 1,144 light-years from Terra in the coreward/anti-spinward direction.

Planetary History
Falsterbo was home to HDF Manufacturing, a secret facility built in the early thirty-second century following the success of Lüneburg Vehicle Corporation on Braunschweig. These factories were constructed as the Hanseatic League's need to protect themselves against the Escorpión Imperio on the nation's doorstep became more urgent.[5]
Hanseatic Crusade
Hellion Galaxy attacked Falsterbo in May 3140 and encountered unexpected considerable resistance in defense of a BattleMech factory they did not know existed. The skilled garrison employed hit-and-run tactics, melting into the wilderness before Hellion Galaxy could respond. The militia, the factory's security force, and their hired mercenaries mounted surprise attacks from three sides, but the Clan Goliath Scorpion warriors were no strangers to pincers. Their light 'Mechs suffered great damage but Hellion Galaxy's mobility outmaneuvered and overwhelmed the defenders. The mercenaries fled and were hunted down and exterminated; the others who stood their ground eventually surrendered, with dozens being taken as bondsmen.[6]
Military Deployment
3140
- Falsterbo Planetary Militia[6]
- HDF Manufacturing Corporate Security[6]
- Mercenaries[6]
Geography
Falsterbo IV is an icy world far from its parent star.[1] The weather conditions feature all kinds of snow and ice[7] and snowdrifts are sometimes BattleMech shoulder-height. Once a year, there is a dangerous meteor shower, with small meteorites surviving re-entry and exploding all over the terrain.[8]
