Frank Paulson, known as Flashpoint, was a Top Twenty sensation fighter on Solaris VII within the Medium 'Mech Class. During the Word of Blake invasion he fought alone for most of the time. His best known action was fighting alone against three mechs (a Blue Flame, a Lightray and a Gurkha. With skill and guts he crippled a Gurkha and destroyed the Blue Flame, though his mech was severely damaged with a left arm blown off and ending also without auto-cannon ammunition.
