During the Word of Blake invasion he fought alone for most of the time. His best known action was fighting alone against three mechs (a Blue Flame, a Lightray and a Gurkha). With skill and guts he crippled the Gurkha and destroyed the Blue Flame, though his 'Mech was severely damaged with a left arm blown off and ending also without autocannon ammunition. It was considered an amazing accomplishment for a lone warrior, though he was also criticized for his engagement lacking teamwork, which could have increased the size of the victory. [1]
