History
The unit had bad luck since they joined the Chaos March. An unknown force slathered 1 battalion during an assault. The heavy looses were a blow for the overall moral. The personal shortened in the FedCom Civil War further because same member fought for or against a faction and doesn't return. The Colonel signed critical short term contracts with high payments for an fast rebuild of the unit. The experience in the Chaos March make the experts in ant terrorist operations and roots controlling. At the moment the unit is employed as garrison force for Sheraton.
The unit was annihilated by forces loyal to the Word of Blake in 3070 on Sheratan.[citation needed]
Officer
Colonel Oliver Haarhar leads this unit in least decades and has the respect of its men.
Tactic
Grim Determination are experts in nighttime operations and bad sight conditions. Also they are drilled in counter-insurgency and scouting mission. (The loose of their 4th battalions hampered their efforts.)
Support
The unit has a surplus by his Dropship capacity and the technical staff can handle all demands off the unit. In hard times the Dropships leased to pay thee bills.

Notes
- Employed the world of Sheratan in the Chaos March when the Word of Blake hired other mercenaries through middle-men (pretending to be from the Federated Suns) in November 3070 explicitly to destroy the Grim Determination. Most of the unit was assimilated by the attackers.
