History[edit]

The Congress-class frigate Howler was one of a number of WarShips identified as being active within the touman of Clan Jade Wolf following the Refusal War fought between Clan Jade Falcon and Clan Wolf. The Howler was serving alongside the Fifth Wolf Regulars Battle Cluster at this point in time.[1]

Notes[edit]

In 3059, Clan Wolf—the renamed Clan Jade Wolf—was known to have a single Congress serving in its touman, the CWS Rogue.[2] As Clan Jade Wolf/Clan Wolf appear to have renamed at least two WarShips at some point in 3058 (see articles on the Blood Fang and Fuego Lobo) it is possible—but not certain—that the Howler was renamed as the Rogue.
