Description
A new design purportedly from Victory Conditions Industries and Eris Entreprises, the Jackalope represents a leap forward in anti-missile and recon technology. The unique, compact design of this light ’Mech allows for an absurd number of them to be loaded into DropShips for deployment. Jump jets allow it to deploy rapidly and quickly get to wherever it needs to go on the battlefield. In addition, eight jump jets allow the Jackalope 240 m wide jumps. A 240 XL engine provides ample power to this small 'Mech, propelling it at speeds of up to 129 kph, as well as powering its weaponry.
Armament
The Jackalope is fairly well armed for its size and battlefield role. It sports two Conquest ER Medium Lasers, as well as a Victory Advanced Tactical Missile 6 Rack. In addition to its weaponry, the 'Mech carries a "clean sweep" Anti-Missile System, and electronics/probe equipment of unknown specifications or design as inquiries were met with a polite "no comment" from the BattleMech's designers.
