The Jasper was a Union-class DropShip of the Federated Suns.
In the early stages of the Galtor campaign in 3025, it suffered a violent explosion upon liftoff from Marduk due to a faulty sealant tube. Two companies of French's Battalion of the Dahar DMM were destroyed, and the repair and landing facilities took severe damage. Sabotage by House Kurita guerrillas was suspected as the cause.[1]
