Joshua March (b. ???? - d. ????) was a Captain within the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns who served as an advisor to the Outworlds Alliance Militia during Operation UNION HOLD, the Star League invasion of the Outworlds Alliance that began in 2581. One of a number of advisors from the AFFS provided to the Outworlds Alliance as a result of the secret Tancredi Accord, March was responsible for training the militia forces on Haynesville for four months prior to the first SLDF troops landing, and led the militia forces in a resistance campaign that successfully prolonged the conquest of Haynesville until reinforcements could arrive. March then worked with the commander of the relief forces, Major Heather Moses of the Pitcairn Legion, in a successful military campaign that used deception and various tactics intended to confuse the SLDF troops; the result of this was the surrender of the 37th Royal Brigade and a significant morale and material victory for the Outworlds Alliance.[1]
