Major Kent Fairfax was a MechWarrior and officer, serving in the 50th Heavy Cavalry Battalion, 151st Light Horse Regiment of the Eridani Light Horse, during the thirty-first century.[1][2]

History
As at 3025, the then MechWarrior Fairfax was a member of the Command Lance, 3rd Heavy Assault Company of the 50th Heavy Cavalry Battalion, at which time he went by "Kent Fairfax Jr.".
By 3058, when the Eridani Light Horse joined Task Force Serpent for their operation to attack Clan Smoke Jaguar in the Clan Homeworlds, Fairfax had risen to become a Major and the commanding officer of the 50th Heavy Cavalry Battalion. He was very concerned with the duty of the 50th Heavy Cavalry Battalion in particular to protect the Light Horse's dependents, and for this reason objected to Ariana Winston when it was ordered to join Task Force Serpent's mission against its far away objective.[2]
Despite these objections, he did however join Task Force Serpent in its attack on Huntress.
