Captain Kirk Hoff was an officer in Wolf's Dragoons who was serving as the commander of Hoff's Company (called the Firewalkers) of Baker Battalion in Epsilon Regiment as of 3028.[1]

History

Hoff was reputed to have a diametrically opposed personality to his "clean freak" commander, Major Richard Jarrett, being an extremely slovenly man, who often went unshaven and sporting a cigarette in his mouth.

Despite always being put on report by Major Jarrett, Hoff was considered one of the best medium 'Mech commanders in the Dragoons, until his death during the Battle of Misery in 3028. Captain Hoff's body was never recovered after this battle.[2]

BattleMech

Hoff was known to pilot a Rifleman BattleMech, which he affectionately named "Oscar".[1][2]
