Description[edit]
The Lesseps Dump Truck is an Earthwerks medium size truck used for construction and mining operations. The truck is a common sight amongst Inner Sphere companies and corporations.[1][2]
By the thirty-first century, the Lesseps were plagued by a bad reputation due to a series of faulty batteries. These faulty batteries caused fires, which forced Lesseps' owners to buy from other Earthwerks competitors.[1][2]
Equipment and Capabilities[edit]
The truck is designed for off-road driving, with its all-wheel drive train. The vehicle is capable of hauling 20 tons worth of cargo in its dumping bed and has a backhoe to help load ore or debris. It also features a Off-road Chassis and Controls Modifications.[1][2]
The electric fuel cell engine can remain charged for 24 hours before it needs recharging. The vehicle is protected by 2.5 tons of Commercial Armor.[1][2]
Design Quirks[edit]
The Lesseps is subject to the following Design Quirk:[2]
