Liberty Arms was built from scratch in 3075. The Taurian Concordat had sustained serious losses in their production facilities, and so a new facility was quickly constructed to produce weapons for the Taurian Defense Force. In 3079, most observers expected the plant to stop producing BattleMechs and be used for other purposes when the Concordat's main military manufacturers had recovered from losses they sustained in the Jihad.[1]
