History
Formed in 2928 from survivors of the 12th Lyran Regulars during the Third Succession War, the unit specialized in pirate hunting. For the next decades the command tracked the bases of nomerus pirates and wiped them out. Faced with the decicion to face the clans they refused the contract and left the IS for the periphery . The new employee Dragon's Wings Mining Corporation is a covert organsiation of the DCMS.[1]
With the beginning of the Jihad the mercs were in the employ of the Magistracy of Canopus. It is believed that the unit fight against the Word of Blake invaders.[2]
Officer
In 3025 the unit is commanded by Colonel Richard Markson.[3]
As of 3067 Colonel Markson lead the unit in the 3rd generation.[1]
In 3145 the commanding officer is Colonel Ray Markson.[4]
Tactics
Long range units soften up the enemy and dropships deploy fast light/medium mechs on the flanks for harassing maneuvers.[1]
Support
The unit contains enough techs for all kinds of repairs and sufficient Dropship support.[1]
