In 2764 the Star League Defense Force WarShip SLS Mary Queen of Scots was the flagship of Vice Admiral Julianne Thorn, commanding officer of the 184th Escort Squadron within the Eighteenth Fleet. Despite the role the Mary Queen of Scots had as squadron flagship, it had actually been acting more as a division command vessel since 2762, reflecting the fact that the 184th - also known as "Safety Blanket" - had been operating in flotilla size groups to escort supply columns crossing from the Free Worlds League into the Magistracy of Canopus.[1]
