History
Mikael Amaris was the son of Charlotte Amaris.[1] Even more vocal in his opposition to his cousin Stefan than his mother, Mikael became involved the Rift Republican Army and was hunted unsuccessfully by the Krypteia[1]. Mikael refused to cooperate with Alexander Kerensky during his conquest of the Rim Worlds Republic or his subsequent attempts to form a new government, preferring to maintain a low profile[1]. He died fighting against Robert Steiner's forces during the latter's conquest of the Republic in 2786[1].
Legacy
Mikael Amaris left behind descendants who would change their surname to the Helius. This lineage would survive and continued to play a social role on Apollo at least until 2915[1].
