Major General Nassar "Thunderbolt" Maloof was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 166th Mechanized Infantry Division from 2763 to at least 2764.[1]

Maloof was intended to be given command of the 270th Mechanized Infantry Division, but following a suspected Capellan Confederation terrorist bombing in late 2763 that killed the previous commander of the 166th Mechanized as well as two of its Brigade commanders, Maloof was reassigned to stabilize the situation.
An experienced officer, he was able to take control of the Division, and as of 2764 hoped to end the terrorist threat in short order.[1]
