Preservationists were a small planetary organization that grew on Borghese. It was designed to preserve the way of life and protect the planet from the ravages of the Clan Wars. It was a political unit with some muscle in the form of battlemechs [1]. One of the spokespersons wanted to surrender to the Clans to preserve the planet.[2] Hauptmann Salander Morgain was also part of this group as the muscle. [3] After the seizure of the dropship Bristol, and the "surrender" to Clan Jade Falcon, who were then defeated by the Black Thorns they were branded as terrorists. [4]
