Richard Weston was the commanding officer of the 3rd Proserpina Hussars in 3050.[1]

Biography

His unit was stationed by 3050 in Galedon V.[1]. During the Clan Invasion, his unit was moved to the front lines and assigned to defend Kiamba.[2]

After January 3052, the Jaguar's Spirit Keshik invaded Kiamba.. The Hussars attacked the Keshik using their armor formations as soon as the Keshik had grounded, and as soon as the Keshik had rebuffed that attack, the Smoke Jaguar DropShips came under attack from the Hussars aerospace forces, who managed to damage one of the DropShips before being beaten back. The Hussars' armor battalion retreated into Hecate's Swamp pursued by the Keshik, and as the Keshik entered the swamp, they were ambushed by an incendiary trap prepared by the Hussars that engulfed two of the Keshik's Trinaries in flames. Edmund Hoyt, the Keshik unit's commander at that time, retaliated for the ambush by deploying a headhunter unit that tracked and killed Tai-sa Richard Weston and the majority of his command unit. These deaths demoralized the Hussars, who retreated to Collins Ridge and fought a desperate last stand there.[2] Two battalions of the Third were destroyed.[3]
