Unit Description
A mercenary unit formed from the remains of the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery's 10th Ghost Regiment.
History
Formation
Formerly known as 10th Ghosts, the Yakuza staffed unit had been dispatched to besieged world of Dieron, to help fight off Word of Blake Forces in March, 3068. The 10th Ghost's Commanding Officer, Tai-sa Samuel Noda had rally to save the unit's executive officer (and his wife) Chu-sa Gretchen Noda but he himself was killed. The unit had received orders in June to head to Quentin.[1] Gretchen took command of the unit, the unit remained on Quentin for two years. In 3070, received orders from DCMS High command to re-deploy back to Dieron after not receiving enough supples and with little repair, that unit would be sucide if they returned. Gretchen by now was more than angry about unit's treatment by DCMS and the death of her husband because of the high command's orders. The unit travelled to Rezak's Hole where the unit wiped out the last of that scorched world's pirates whom luring in the system. While on planet, Unit incorporated some of the "saner" pirates into the unit to becoming known as mercenry unit known as Ronin. While on planet, they raided a Intersteller Expeditions base camp, where they helped themselves to two lances worth of Star League era BattleMechs.[3] They managed to escape DCMS patrol that were summoned to the world by IE's the distress calls. The League equipment allowed the unit to rebuilt itself the strength of a battalion.[4] The unit became unknownly employed by Chandrasekhar Kurita through being hired by StarCorps Industries.
