The Roshak Maneuver was a tactic developed by Star Captain Bryn Roshak of Clan Jade Falcon. Also known as the "Circle of Death", the maneuver was geared towards smaller, faster 'Mechs facing a heavier opponent. It involved running in a circle around the foe at top speed whilst keeping the torso facing the enemy to maintain a steady weapons lock. Speed allowed the warrior to avoid return fire as they gradually wore down the enemy's defenses.[1]

A variation of this tactic was developed by the 1st Falcon Hussars which involved one or more Stars of light, fast 'Mechs performing the same maneuver when assaulting a fortified defensive position.[1]
