Article Title, Part 1

I thought, only Abtackhas get their Clan's name attached to their name... And in the Novel, he's just "Zane" --Detlef 03:36, 4 May 2009 (PDT)

Just following the format of Sarna.net. Also, it can be little confusing if we had bunch of one name person listed here. It makes easier to identify. Someone could veto this, but its done out practicality. Within the clan itself, he only known by his first name. Not rest of the universe. -- Wrangler 09:14, 4 May 2009 (PDT)

Article Title, Part 2

I thought it was only Freebirths that were adopted into the warrior caste that get the Clan name as their surname, like Horse Jade Falcon or Elson Nova Cat or Jaime Wolf. Regardless, if Zane was a trueborn, wouldn't a more appropriate title for this article be "Zane_(Nova Cat warrior)"? -- 75.23.228.139 25 July 2022

I admit that I do not follow clan culture enough to know the specific conventions, but if the change is made the wiki naming convention would be "Zane (Clan Nova Cat)".--Dmon (talk) 18:00, 25 July 2022 (EDT)
I reviewed my copy of the novel Path of Glory, in chapter 17 when Zane first powers up his Pack Hunter to configure it, he logs in as "MechWarrior Zane Nova Cat." The novel does not explain this. It's possible that all unBloodnamed Nova Cat warriors are referred to with the Honorname "Nova Cat" unlike other Clans where it only Freeborns receive their Clan's name as an Honorname. -- Chu Jungyin 20:11, 25 July 2022 (EDT).
Clan cultural norms on this are a bit fuzzy in-universe - In the Dark Age for example in some Clans pretty much every unblooded warrior got their Clan name as a surname. In this case, since we have a source where he calls himself using that format, I think that should be enough to follow it for Sarna purposes. So I think we should leave it as is --HF22 (talk) 05:17, 26 July 2022 (EDT)
