In July 3027, Viola Radcliffe would serve in a Lance of BattleMechs on a raid of the world of Rollis. Viola was an experienced solider who was there to aid Leftenant Theodore Barkley who was a green officer on his first raid. However, elements of the Rollis Home Guard under the command of Subcommander Rodney Piet put up a stubborn defense that took the Federated Suns troops by surprise. After the initial loss of one the Federated Suns 'Mechs, Radcliffe was able to finally persuade Barkley to withdraw from the planet before their unit could be destroyed.[1][2]
BattleMech[edit]
