Unit Description

The Zeta Prime Galaxy is a Clan Ice Hellion Second-Line formation composed almost entirely of fanatical Freeborns.

History

Prior to 3059 Zeta Prime had recently launched an unsanctioned raid on New Kent, a Clan Steel Viper world. The raid ended in disaster with the destruction of several Trinaries.[1]

Officers

As of 3059 the Commanding Officer was Galaxy Commander Eld. A promising graduate from secondary training camp, Eld was formerly a member of Beta Galaxy. His reckless behavior, both on and off the battlefield, lead to his transfer to Zeta Prime after three years. His relaxed style of command has contributed to Zeta Prime's reputation.[2]

Tactics

Units of Zeta Prime Galaxy regularly violate standard Clan battle tactics. Their overzealous nature leads to frequent unsanctioned attacks, whereby battle quickly descends into a general melee with each warrior freely choosing their own targets.[3] This naturally leads to disastrous losses and frequent reprimands from superior officers.
