Overview
Zettle Metals dates from a time before the Terran Alliance thus making it one of the oldest companies in the Lyran Commonwealth. The company has suffered much during the Succession Wars, but has survived in spite of the damage. The company specializes in the purification of rare metals. Some of these metals are crucial to the construction of BattleMech chassis.
As of 3025, Zettle has three major foundries on Hyde and two more on Rahne.
During the Jihad, Zettle expanded into the field of BattleMech production with their creation of the Pathfinder. However, the mech is of decidedly low quality when compared to many front line machines.[2]
