Prelude[edit]
Prior to the invasion, Lyran intelligence discovered that a concentration of Land-Air ’Mechs were assigned to the invasion. Aware that such units could outmaneuver their battle formations they launched several preemptive raids against the staging areas to pin down the LAMs. Their efforts were successful and the invasion was delayed by several months.[1]
Outcome[edit]
The invasion failed as the Commonwealth retained possession of La Blon by war's end.[2][3][4]
Notes[edit]
The source material gives 2891 as the year but specifies the First Succession War. It is assumed 2791 was the intended date.
