Overview[edit]
The Battle of Telos IV refers to the abortive occupation of the planet of Telos IV by Federated Commonwealth forces during the War of 3039 from April to October of that year. The invasion and occupation were precipitated by the Federated Commonwealth's strike into Draconis Combine territory along the borders of the Draconis March as part of Operation STURMHAMMER, an attack based on the pretext of liberating former Davion-controlled worlds from alleged Draconis tyranny.[1] Like many of the battles of the War of 3039, it was a costly and unproductive affair and resulted in no changes in the border's status quo.
