The book is a hate-filled screed against Victor Steiner-Davion in particular and his siblings to a lesser degree, a family he considers the worst of the worst for the Inner Sphere. The top drivers on this is blaming Victor for the Jihad as a means for his clan to gain power, and former Archon Katherine Steiner-Davion's exile among Clan Wolf as her try to subvert that Clan and turn them on their enemies as a glorified mercenary force.[1]
