Gunsho C. A. Homnick was the senior tech of the 1st Battalion of the Otomo during the Battle of Luthien in 3052.[1]
History[edit]
C. A. Homnick was tasked by Tai-sa Oda Hideyoshi with arming several LoaderMechs with weapons and armor prior to the Battle of Luthien. Homnick informed the Tai-sa that it was possible, but was reluctant due to the excessive risk any pilot of the machines would take in battle. He stated the machines would only have a weapon or two and barely any armor.
Tai-sa Hideyoshi put Homnick's fears to rest when he shared Theodore Kurita's plan to use remotes to pilot the LoaderMechs and use them to lure the invading Clan forces into a minefield.
Homnick then improved on the idea by adding high explosives into the Mech's allowing them to be detonated remotely against any Clan units nearby.[1]

C. A. Homnick is given the rank of "Gunso" in the Luthien (Scenario Pack). As no rank corresponds to this term, it is assumed to be a misspelling of "Gunsho".
