Elkin Odds was the commanding officer of the Sakhara Academy Training Battalion as of 3050.[2]
History[edit]
Kommandant Odds, serving with the Sakhara Academy Training Battalion, was stationed on Sakhara V in 3050 and remained there by 3062.[2][3][4] Although he retired from the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns as a leftenant colonel, Odds was promoted to the Armed Forces of the Federated Commonwealth rank of kommandant when he took command of the Sakhara Battalion. Already in his mid-sixties, Odds' vigorous upkeep of his health and fitness served as an example to both his trainees and his staff. Odds was also an extremely wealthy man with a family fortune valued at several hundred million C Bills[4]
After the Federated Commonwealth Civil War, Odds took the AFFS rank of colonel and retained command of the Sakhara Training Battalion.[1]
