History[edit]
Though Emily Youngblood had been selected by her grandfather Stuart Youngblood to direct his company YMC along with her brother Frederik Youngblood, she quickly got bored with that job and escaped daily management of the YMC to become involved in the Deimos Project to develop faster than light (FTL) vehicles. She was a consulting crew member on the first FTL flight in 2108. Emily went on to become a representative to the Terran Alliance Parliament, where she was instrumental in bringing all space colonies under Terran jurisdiction.[1]
