Engels was a member of Clan Jade Falcon's touman and later, though briefly, leader of the Falcon resistance on Arcturus.

History[edit]

Ferrau was a Jade Falcon which reached the rank of Star Captain, a blind follower of the Mongol Doctrine. On 3146, he served on Arcturus. The 4th January, he was the security force commander of the capital, and when a protest reached the Lyceum, he ordered his forces to open fire on the protestors, killing hundreds. Not satisfied, he sent security teams to every hospital, executing any wounded protesto they found. That would be known as the Commonwealth Day Massacre. His forces scoured the city searching for Kimberley Wells, the journalist behind the protest. After locating her, thanks from a tip from Vander Chabnill, a young noble, he personally executed her. When Malvina Hazen took his forces to Terra, Ferrau was left behind, and the garrison was quickly destroyed by the local resistance. However, Ferrau and some of his men managed to hid in the city, managing to stay one step ahead of the authorities thanks to Chabnill's family's help. He was sentenced to the death penalty in abscentia, the only Falcon to receive such punishment, implied to be by the Commonwealth Day Massacre.[1]

After general Sarah Regis 26th Arcturan Guards arrived to Arcturus, Ferrau had a meeting with Chabnill and his father, working together against their common foe. The 9 July [[3151], Ferrau's team of Jade Falcons led an assault against a power plant. He personally killed three people in the assault, before making blow the plant.[2]

The 27 April 3152, Ferrau led a dozen members of his group to assault the ducal palace during an aristocratic wedding between Torin Fyhne, the former fiancee of Kimberley Wells, and Kensley Wells, posing as servers. After being uncovered, they began killing the presents. He kidnapped Kensley, being pursued by Torin. During his escape, he shoot Chabnill, when he tried to betray him.[3]

However, Ferrau didn't go very far: he was near the parking when Torin reached him. Despite the Star Captain's threats to kill his hostage, Torin engageded him, making him lose his pistol. Ferrau was forced to take a sword and defend himself against the furious young, and he wasn't atthe level of Fyhne, which wounded him several times. When Ferrau made a last attempt to kill Torin, the nobleman's sword get through his heart, killing him. The last words he heard were Sic servitur justica. Torin's bodyguard later shoot him three times to confirm his death. There were no known survivors of the Falcon's attack group, and without Ferrau to lead them, it is implied than the resistance died with his leader.[4]

Physical Description[edit]

Ferrau was descrived as a larfge, muscular man, though not as large as an Elemental, with dark eyes and a wide face.[5]
