Jane Greenoak was the commanding officer of the Second Battalion of the Fifth Oriente Hussars as of 3059.[1]

Force Commander Greenoak, serving with the Fifth Oriente Hussars, was stationed on Sierra in 3059. Joining the Fifth Oriente as a cadet in 3034, Greenoak rose to a command position without ever attending a League military academy. A naturally gifted 'Mech pilot, Greenoak proved her worth to the Fifth's previous commander Colonel Millicent Toromov and received a field commission to officer's rank.[1]
