Jessica Trees were trees native to Alarion, which were named after a myth connected to Jessica LeQue-Winsom, a local noblewoman.[1]
Overview[edit]
Jessica Trees were tall, slim and crowned with golden leaves. At night, they unfurl their fronds, in order to collect the moonlight. This was thought to resemble the hopeless gestures of Jessica LeQue-Winsom, who local stories told had died of despair, after missing the transport to join her husband on Aleksandr Kerensky's Operation EXODUS. Accordingly, following her death, it was believed the trees had received the name Jessica Trees.[1]
