History[edit]
During 3074, Dr. Hemmingway commanded once of the most active medical crews in ComStar, seeing action in three major campaigns. Unattached to any specific military unit, and equipped mostly to assist infantry, during this period they assisted an usually high number of combat vehicle crews. As a result Dr. Hemmingway and his team pioneered new surgery techniques to improve survival rates for burns victims.
Dr. Hemmingway most notable achievement came on an unspecified world, near a town named Obsterfern, where his MASH vehicle and a ComStar Level II they were assisting became surrounded by half a Word of Blake Level III. Hemmingway was however able to negotiate a ceasefire to allow him to treat the wounded from both sides, and after a tense day, the Blakists retreated with their now treated wounded.[1]
Vehicle[edit]
Hemmingway was known to command a MIT 23 MASH Vehicle, which was nicknamed Nightingale.[1]
