Description[edit]

Created by Vandenberg Mechanized Industries in 3119,[1] and produced on Pinard, the Lamprey was conceived as a fast transport that was able to provide its own covering fire. The Lamprey is an infantry transport VTOL with 4 tons cargo capacity. Rugged and reliable, with responsive controls and an emphasis on survivability, it developed a good reputation among experienced and inexperienced pilots alike. Able to field a full complement of troops, this armed VTOL managed to continue production even through the Taurian Concordat's years of economic crisis.[3][4]

Weapons and Equipment[edit]

With dual Harpoon SRM-4 missile racks, and a Scattergun Machine Gun, the Lamprey is able to provide significant cover fire. This armament is backed by 5.5 tons of armor, shielding 4 tons of space for infantry.[3]

Variants[edit]

No different variants of the Lamprey are known to exist.
