Overview[edit]
- MechAssault VII: Cold War
This entry in the series saw the hero fight his way into the vaults beneath Rim Worlds Republic Outpost #666 before encountering a genetically engineered Star League era clone of Stefan Amaris perfectly preserved and bursting free from a Stasis Tube ready to destroy the Inner Sphere.[1]
Though noting the film's implausibility, a Voices of the Sphere article on cryogenics would reference its plot while commenting on Republic of the Sphere's founding Exarch Devlin Stone reportedly using the technology in a similar manner to return after his supposed death.[1]
Notes[edit]
- The naming convention and overboard plot are blatant references to the MechAssault video game series, along with a reference to the various secret Rim Worlds Republic Outposts in the Deep Periphery.
