System Description[edit]
New London is a system within the Federated Suns.[1]
New London[edit]
Planetary History[edit]
New London was an agricultural planet of little if any value, garrisoned by a few personal guards of the local baron. For reasons unknown House Marik decided to raid the world with a battalion at some point in time, implicitly during the late Succession Wars era in the early thirty-first century. House Davion was just conducting fleet exercises at New London including at least four Union-class DropShips and many aerospace fighters. They managed to destroy a Marik Overlord-class DropShip as it was just dropping 'Mechs; the fate of the Leopard-class Anarchist was not specified.[1]
Canonicity[edit]
The only BattleTech source mentioning New London is the TCI Model Set #3 (scenario "Operation Mad House"). While an official product that was sold by TCI with full endorsement and cooperation of FASA, it does not meet the current criteria for canon and must thus be considered apocryphal.
