Owen was a member of Clan Hell's Horses's Eighth Horde Cluster as of 3144.[1][2]
History[edit]
Owen passed his Trial of Position in 3144, becoming a ristar, after defeating all three of his opponents while piloting a Hel OmniMech. These included a Black Hawk defeated with a well-aimed Gauss rifle shot, a Mad Cat overcome after an hour of fighting from an ammunition explosion, as well as a Masakari. The Masakari pilot nearly killed Owen with his PPC fire, but becoming overconfident after he came to believe Owen was out of Gauss rounds, was knocked over by a surprise shot with Owen's last Gauss ammunition.
Being assigned after this Trial to the Eighth Horde Cluster, and command of a heavy OmniMech Star, it was rumored Owen was working towards a challenge for the position of Eighth Horde CO Star Colonel Brook DeLaurel.[1][2]
