Paramar was a MechWarrior with the Tooth of Ymir who fought during the Word of Blake Jihad.

History[edit]

Paramar served with the Tooth of Ymir for an unknown length of time, as the youngest MechWarrior of Charlie Lance, C Company, under the command of Lieutenant Charles Farabaugh. Due to Charles' habit of putting mixes of music on the waves in combat, the lance was dubbed Cacophony Lance

On 28 December 3075, Paramar was with the rest of members of Charlie Lance. They were aboard the Tooth of Ymir DropShip Firebrand, which was about to make landfall on Galatea to fight the Word of Blake planetary forces. Charles Farabaugh was talking with his lance members, Kevin Gurski, and Maria Peltergast, all on their 'Mechs. The others asked about Black Condor's name and Charles' history of how he captured it. Their discussion was interrupted by their commanding officer, Captain Brandon Shadwell, who had Charles turn off his music, before ordering them to the command post when they landed.

Soon after, Charlie Lance was at the command post, where Major Ivan Petrov informed them of their mission: to infiltrate inside the Blakist lines and destroy an Arrow IV battery ammo depot supposedly containing nukes, before the Blakists could use them. Despite Petrov's reassuring words about other lances supporting them, the lance knew it was almost a suicide mission, but they obeyed anyway.

After Cacophony moved out, Charles put heroic music on the airwaves.

The lance first found two Blakist scout 'Mechs, a Hussar and a Stinger, quickly and easily putting them down. Paramar's Chimera was damaged by a pair of hovercraft and his lancemates had to leave him behind, trying to return to base alone. It is unknown whether he made it.[1]

Charlie completed their mission at the cost of his life.

Legacy[edit]

After Charles' death, the Black Condor's remains were found, and its BattleROM recordings showed Charlie's heroic sacrifice and how this saved countless thousands of Galatea's civilians. In 3122, Galatea's Museum of the Jihad displayed Farabaugh's music data chip, explaining his feat and honoring his and his lance's actions.[2]

BattleMech[edit]

Paramar's 'Mech was a Chimera 2K model armed with a sword, a gift from Uncle Chandy.[3]
