Recollections of the Last War was a written work published by Capellan Institute Press in 2988.[1]

This work included a chapter entitled "Not All Were Brave," authored by Captain A. E. Vinn of the Second Chesterton Voltigeurs, which provided an account of poor Capellan Confederation Armed Forces morale and surrenders during the Third Succession War. In the context of the fall of a city named Pallosa to a single Locust BattleMech belonging to a Federated Suns militia unit referred to as the Davion National Constabulary, Vinn described the rout and surrender of the local Capellan militia infantry, without a shot being fired.[1]
