Located on Solaris VII, Ryder's Modifications was a small company specializing in BattleMech customizations to hide weapons.

The company initially thrived as Ryder's Raiders Stables and placed several MechWarriors in the Top 20, but allegations of match fixing reduced the stable to a 'Mech garage by 3053, and soon became only known as Ryder's Modifications.[1]
Several Solaris MechWarriors turned to Ryder's Modifications when they needed to conceal weaponry in their 'Mechs. For twice the cost of a small weapon, Ryder's would hide a weapon on a 'Mech by removing armor and placing false armor over the weapon. Stables like Fitzhugh Stables and DeLon Stables made use of the company's unique services; rumors were that Ryder's had modified two Fitzhugh Stables Whitworths with hidden pulse lasers. Ryder's could also add additional heat sinks to give pilots an edge in the arena.[1]
