Lewis supervised a secret NAIS facility on Bethel researching what would become Triple Strength Myomer.[2]

Professor-General Sam Lewis died on Alyina defending Victor Ian Steiner-Davion from Clan Jade Falcon forces[1]

According to the real-world Sam Lewis in a 2022 interview, there are at least three characters named Sam Lewis in BattleTech canon. He clarified that the only one of these that he actually considered his in-universe alter ego is Professor General Sam Lewis and that he had agreed with Mike Stackpole to kill that character off in the novel Lost Destiny as something of an in-joke.[3]
