Colonel Stafford Leifsson was the commander of the First Galatean Defense Force Mercenary unit as of 3144.[1]

In December 3144, when Clan Jade Falcon attacked Galatea, Leifsson was heavily involved in the fighting and was credited with one kill and two assists. This resulted in him becoming the founding CO of the First Galatean Defense Force, when it was established by merging a number of smaller independent Mercenary units, but by December 3145 had been replaced by Colonel Zackary O'Gordon.[1][2]

Leifsson was known to have piloted a TR-XB Trebaruna BattleMech.[1]
