General[edit]
Built from the ruins of the old Tikonov Martial Academy, and captured from the Capellan Confederation in the Fourth Succession War,[2] the institution became one of the premier schools of its kind. For the citizens of the Sarna March, the academy provided education for the area after its reconstruction. Every year, the facility graduated hundreds of fresh soldiers in many fields of military specialty. But the roots of the past life in the minds of the common people and the academy with its cadets is a bastion of loyalty to the Federated Suns in this region.[3]
The school was still active in the Dark Age, circa 3135.[4]

Atmosphere[edit]
Cadets of the Clan War-era travelled only in groups outside the academy due to increased attacks and terrorist acts. The training cadre often provides help to comrades in an emergency.[3]
Special Notes[edit]
Many members of the Tikonov Republican Guards and of Free Capella were former Tikonov graduates.[3]
