Description[edit]

The Tolva is a medium Quad BattleMech based on the Araña MilitiaMech. Stronger and tougher than the IndustrialMech version, it was used extensively during the Hanseatic Crusade. After the war it is found in large numbers in the Hellion, Omega, and Grunt Galaxies.[2]

Weapons and Equipment[edit]

The Tolva is fitted with nine-and-a-half tons of standard BattleMech armor. Its quadruped leg configuration also gives it considerable stability as it traverses rough terrain and added stability for MechWarriors. Unlike its progenetor design it has five jump jets to cover 150 meters at a time, and mounts three extra heat sinks.[1]

The 'Mech is powered by a 200-rated fusion engine, giving the Tolva sufficient mobility for it to keep up with supporting forces. Mounted on a turret in the right torso, the Tolva's main guns come in the form of three Clan-produced ER Medium Lasers. These Clan-grade lasers are supplemented by an advanced Targeting Computer, allowing it to make each shot count.[1]
