The Vela Nebula (not to be confused with the Vela Sheet) is a nebula located in the Deep Periphery, spinward of the Inner Sphere, directly in front of the expansive Gum Nebula.[1]

The Vela Nebula was the name given to a nebula located spinward from the Draconis Combine, approximately 650 light years from Terra.[1] The provided coordinates designate the nebula's center point.
The nebula slightly overlaps the region of space claimed by the JàrnFòlk.
