During the Amaris Civil War, on 27 December 2766, Morris was included in the forward elements of the Fourth Amaris Dragoons who fought against the Royal Black Watch Regiment on Terra's Gorst Flats. Charging into a meat grinder with the Recon Lance of First Company, the Dragoons suffered heavy losses against the heavily outnumbered Black Watch, leading Stefan Amaris to order the use of tactical Nuclear Weapons to destroy the remaining Black Watch 'Mechs the Dragoons had failed to defeat.[1]

Morris was known to have piloted a COM-5S Commando BattleMech.[1]
